Daily Merlin 'Amsterdam'

An apt time to connect to higher awareness once more. The deceit circling round the main characters in this enduring epic ... remains ... even though names have been cleared. The jigsaw pieces handed over now, after the event ... priceless or worthless? Only time will tell.

Winding awareness back to early in the trail. Back to the time of highlighted in the media coverage. Something said back then ... from an unexpected source recalled at the very name of Amsterdam. A source contacting out of the blue, unaware of the tentative involvement back then. Stating that place in Holland with the canals as a likely destination. This snippet now in the lap of appropriate sources. It is a collaboration perhaps to the current story ... if it can be accepted as proving fact within the pages and pages of speculation?

The purpose thus, of heightening awareness at this point of time, to explore the essence of the revelation. To travel remotely to that time ... and perhaps see what was and what could have been.

The lead may prove to be too late now to aid in the direction of the trail. But it would prove without a shadow of a doubt Maddie was alive after the apartment. That she did not perish within the apartment. There was so much intentional distraction from July onwards with the advent of the blood on the wall stories and beyond. Almost a bragging 'look what we can do to you' ... creation of the myth of the DNA and the smothering of the real trail. A denial of the truth and the harmful evolution of distractions to further bury the trail.

A sense of one sighting which could well be kosher. Above board. Truth at last within a cesspit of shameful deceptions. It could be. Will we ever know for sure? On the strength of the Daily Mail report it would seem a real possibility ... "I noticed the little girl spoke good English without an accent. Next I asked the little girl what her name was and she said, "My name is Maggie". At least that's what I thought she said. When I repeated it, the little girl said, "No, my name is Maddie".'I still remember that because I thought it was a rare name which you didn't often hear. 'I then asked her where she had last seen her mother and she answered, "They took me from my holiday".

'I thought it all a little odd and then I heard the woman call the girl. She didn't call her Maddie, but a longer name. She could have said Madeleine but I don't remember that."

If this is the case then it is a real crying shame this has come to light only now.

Turning to the Servants of the Light ... as a key to the door, as the inspiration ... Seeking the answer to 'was it indeed Madeleine McCann seen in Amsterdam?'

Initially the Four of Spheres ... and the 'upturned pandora's box' as I have come to associate this card. The image of the sun and a horn of plenty can be seen on the box. Secrets unearthed once hidden ... just one of the many perhaps to come to light. Jumping to the wrong conclusions here seem the risk but the Lovers image next has drawn my attention to a 'blond woman' who witnessed the wedding. Someone asked perhaps to give her blessing. It is a strange revelation. But the sense here of a religious or business link to Holland associating here ... someone or something working in isolation like a rocky island surrounded by sea (apologies for the symbolism) ... someone very much on a limb or on their own here.

The Maker of Crescents shows 'the charioteer' flaunting possession of the crescent ... letting it be known somewhere and to someone they indeed have or had the prize. Whether this relates to Amsterdam ... but someone in control of the direction of the situation is getting the message across (back then?) that they did indeed have custodianship of the crescent moon fragment. The maker of deceptions and illusions with the chariot being the media campaign which is projected before the public eye. The face of it all created for all to react to in the way they have been meant to. Through every twist and turn ... across every rise and fall of the torrid waves. There is a real sense of manufactured situations through which someone can learn people's reactions to the likes of what has been explored in recent times. Maddie has not been with a pedophile ring ... or with child slavery ... that is the strong sense that comes with this insight. Amsterdam may well have been a port of call somewhere along the trail ... kept on file deliberately ... because the sense of Maddy being with other children and a family does not shape with the impressions being generated at the time. The three of staves once again ... the sacred triangle .. a card of recovery ... recovery of the real trail it seems ... cold as it may well be ... or a loop in the string lassoing our attention to another corridor in the maze?

Whatever ... the impression that rides with this insight ... it could well have been Maddie. I ask thus the two old dears to provide their awareness if they are there to be heard ... seeing immediately the boards of a theatre or stage ... an audience is still and expectant awaiting the lone speaker before them who is ready to speak. There is a hush and a still. One word either way ... 'yes' ... the strangest of impressions.

'She is neither here or there. She is not with us for sure ... but she is not there where she was hence it is safe to broadcast that sighting. It will not affect they who now hold her. It is the first pearl from the necklace which was discarded. There are others there ... handwritten notes. .... a document out of place with others. Deep within it all. Missed on the first number of viewings. But blue is the emphasis. To come to light the red lion ...'

The Amsterdam Sighting?

Like Matt I strongly believe this was a genuine sighting. Why??
I will tell you why I think so.

Around January 2007 I had this strange dream. I was aware of 3 people in spirit (one being my mother - one of the Two Old Dears by the way) and they were showing me a map of Europe. I had no idea why. But in this map, I was shown from the left of the map, to follow a pink highlighted line across to an area which I felt was Germany/Holland/Poland. At this point the map was circled in the same pink and I was told 'Remember Port Good' Now Port Good meant nothing, still doesn't. But this dream bugged me for weeks and weeks mainly because I really felt that it was not a dream but the 3 in spirit were really there in the room that night and showing me this map.

Long after Madeleine went missing in May 07, I still didn't connect this dream to Madeleine.
But when you look at a map of Europe, the area shown to me was Portugal leading upwards and east to Holland/Germany/ Poland? It was then I thought that maybe, just maybe there is some connection to this dream to missing Madeleine.

Later in the year, we received a phone call from a long lost friend (I will call Linda!). She had moved back to Auckland from Hamilton and had lost contact with us for many many months.
She was not aware of Matt's blog or anything he had been writing about to do with Madeleine.
I was surprised and pleased to hear from her again after such a long time.

Now Linda is a medium, not trained but she was always trying to escape 'the voices' which drove her mad! But of course she never could. She explained that she had been to lunch with another friend of ours, when out of the blue, a voice in spirit started telling her things about Madeleine and to contact Matt, which she did the next day.

She said that spirit were telling her that Matt was not wrong and had to keep on with it, but there would be many changes to this case going to happen (this was prior to the McCanns being made arguido's) but she was totally 100% sure that Madeleine was alive and that she saw boats/canals. She even had to ask me 'what's that place called in Holland where the canals are'... So I said 'Amsterdam"....
"Yes" she said "that's it"....Amsterdam"........

I contacted Linda yesterday and plan to chat with her on the phone soon. But pleased to hear that she is now developing her mediumship and learning how to switch on and off the voices, and she is being trained by none other than Kelvin Cruickshank, the NZ medium off "Sensing Murder". Matt & I have seen Kelvin live and he is totally brilliant. So she is being trained by one of the best.

There have also been other things I have received from spirit (which I prefer not to say) which connect to Amsterdam. So, in my opinion, I do believe Amsterdam holds some significance.

A Quick Insight ...



With the latest revelations in mind ... a quick insight to 'assess' the overall feeling and direction of the information which is currently within the tabloids, bringing the saga back into the public eye ...

It needs to be established if the shop keeper saw any sign of the distinctive eye pattern. This would serve as the only tangible proof that the Amsterdam sighting was 'kosher'. Surely if the shop keeper had a conversation with the young girl, there must have been some eye contact?

And, though the Belgian 'sighting' are being linked with pedophiles (again) ... they should not be completely dismissed. Belgium did figure once before in the mystery. However, linked to pedophiles - NO, NO, NO! Belgian faces - yes. There was an early link explored by ALITD with regard to faces in Belgium. At the time there was a distinct sense that there was indeed a Belgian link (within the press agencies). Around the time of the 'towel on the waste ground' ... these paths could perhaps be retraced.

And, though the style and the frequency of the Daily Merlin Insights might have changed (due to time restraints) ... the review of 'channelled information' is still the same. A fleeting sense of a watching couple observing all the passing 'boats at sea' ... witnessing the rising and the falling of the tides of emotion. A feeling of achievement or fulfillment at the end of a long and bitter journey.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

This can still prove to have a favourable outcome. No reason to give up all hope as hope is not lost ... the road has been misguided by clever hands. By clever minds. The path may be hidden but the outcome can still prove to be favourable.

The Two of Weapons talks of a battle of wills and a struggle between two sides to possess the flaming sword. The conflict continues. That elusive contest of wills which is somehow kept hidden from the public eyes. However, it has been sensed time and time again.

The Maker of Spheres juggles four spheres. Holds them in a perfect pattern as he watches the observer's every move. The worker bees flit around this enigmatic figure undertaking the errands they are instructed to follow. Their workings weave the tapestry which the public sea. Behind the scenes all sides to the mystery are controlled perfectly.

Behind the Maker a young child with what appears to be dark hair can just be seen on the edge of a dark wood. It seems this young child is once more coming back into view. The tapestry currently created by the Maker has the young child in its design. On the earth plane, the tapestry appears to resemble a vale of old and ancient trees. However, this image is perhaps best taken as being symbolic. The Maker appears to be a youngster of an influential family or group. He seems to be trying to make his mark. The spheres of influence at his finger tips have created the imagery which is around this strange situation ...

The young man is cloaked/disguised/bedecked with purpose ... in two worlds. To him all of his work is a ritual to suit a higher purpose. He is free from conscience and cares not how any suffers in this. His way is clear and what is being done must be done to clear out the old trees to make way for the new ones being planted ...

The couple 'spotted in Amsterdam with Maddie lookalike'

These are the first pictures of a couple seen with the little girl who told a shopkeeper in Holland 'My name is Maddie, they took me from my holiday'.

The artist's impressions were created with the help of Anna Stam who saw the girl in her party shop in Amsterdam days after Madeleine McCann vanished.

The sketches, first published in the Daily Mirror, show a swarthy man aged 35-40 with a moustache and a woman in her 40s with brown hair.


The man was speaking in Portuguese and the woman in French, according to the paper.

Ms Stam told the Mirror: 'They fit the faces I remember. I just hope its not too late and we can do some good.'

Her report was one of a number of potential sightings that emerged in the official police files released this week. The MCanns are now treating it as a priority. (Daily Mail 8th August 2008)

Belgian police investigate new sighting


Detectives are investigating a reported sighting of Madeleine McCann in Belgium made earlier this week. (Daily Telegraph Saturday 9th August 2008)

A bank security guard in Brussels said she saw a blonde, blue eyed girl who bore a striking resemblance to the missing girl in a KBC branch in the west of the city on Monday morning. She was brought into the bank by a woman of North African origin, according to the security guard.

The sighting follows more than 100 of Madeleine in Belgium over the last 15 months.

Johan Berckmans, a spokesman for the West Brussels police department, said: "We are taking it seriously and we are investigating. A person working in the bank reported it. We have several teams looking for her. We have to be certain."

Belgian police are scouring CCTV images from the bank to see if the girl was captured on camera.



Servants of the Light Images - Four of Spheres, The Lovers - it appears this sighting could well prove inconclusive. There is nothing here to suggest an affirmative. The upturned pandora's box has many contents discarded. Somewhere there are faces attempting to conceal a trail.

McCann apartment was rented out to four different families BEFORE police forensic testing

The holiday apartment from which Madeleine McCann vanished was rented out for two months before police sealed it off.

Four different groups of tourists were allowed to stay in the flat before forensics officers attempted to take blood and DNA samples from the rooms.

The resulting DNA analysis was inconclusive and laboratory scientists said samples were badly degraded and contaminated.

Potentially crucial evidence from the two-bedroom apartment in the Ocean Club complex may have been lost forever.



The gaffe was revealed in the Maddie case files made public this week. It was one of a series of blunders by Portuguese police, who were finally forced to shelve the investigation last month because of a lack of evidence.

Their slapdash approach to sealing off apartment 5A, the crime scene, is in stark contrast to the effort they made to link Kate and Gerry McCann to their daughter's disappearance.

It lay empty for a month but cleaners were allowed inside and it was then rented to holidaymakers until August.

The two-bedroom flat was only permanently sealed off when specialist sniffer dogs were taken inside in August and supposedly detected minute traces of blood and the 'scent of death'.


Their reaction prompted forensics officers to take further samples from the flat, three months after the events they were investigating.

Details of all those who stayed in 5A after the McCanns were revealed in the case files.

On June 12, a couple from Liverpool moved in for a week, followed by a family of four from Falkirk in Scotland.

Next, a couple from New Barnet, Hertfordshire, rented the flat and on July 19 a family of three from Leicester moved in for a week.


It was not clear if they were told of the flat's history, but the apartment was the focus for much of the early media attention and was shown in newspaper photographs and television reports around the world. (Daily Mail Saturday 9th August 2008)

The Brussels Sighting

A little girl who cops suspect could be Madeleine McCann asked a woman she was seen walking with, “Can we go back now?” it emerged last night. (The Sun Monday 11th August 2008)

The poignant plea in English was overheard by a bank security guard in Brussels, Belgium — and he is convinced the kiddie was missing Maddie.


The Securitas guard became suspicious and ran out of the KBC bank branch last Monday after spotting the pair on monitors linked to CCTV cameras covering the street.

Tapes were last night being studied by police — and footage obtained by The Sun has been passed to Maddie’s parents Kate and Gerry to see if they recognise the child.

The guard told detectives the blonde blue-eyed girl looked just like Maddie, who was nearly four when she vanished from her family’s holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3 last year.
The dark-skinned woman, wearing a hijab headdress, spoke in a different language, possibly broken French.
Police interviewed the guard, who speaks fluent Flemish, Dutch and English, on Thursday. They also seized film from five closed-circuit cameras.


Footage first shows the girl being led along a quiet street named Ulensstraat, in the run- down immigrant area of Molenbeek. The pair are heading towards the Vergotedok canal.

The back view shows the mystery woman is dressed in black trousers, a white coat and a black headscarf. The child has a fringe like Madeleine’s. She has on a white jumper with a pink waistband, a pink tartan skirt and beige boots.


The woman is North African or Arabic with thick black eyebrows. She has on a patterned black top and white shoes and appears to be pregnant.

A Quick Look Back ...

Daily Merlin Insight 'A Quick Look Ahead' (Tuesday 11th March 2008): "The Four of Crescents and the suspected female who I call 'the dishevelled woman' ... someone under scrutiny and suspicion. Wrong moves with wrong statement made ... someone's whereabouts seem to be quite contradictory. A woman seen in and around the complex ... with straggly dark hair ... perhaps black . A witness to something which contradicts other information.Who were the 'Middle Eastern' family who had a holiday home close by to the complex at the time?

Loose lips sank ships ... information passed to the wrong places out of spite. What was confidential was passed on like chinese whispers.

Receipt of word sometime between now and the end of the period in question. Not to build up hopes too much ... it could be the same cul-de-sac ... the Maker of Spheres could be the influence of the Pied Piper still. Another sighting of Madeleine ... this time I sense the possibility of woodland or open spaces. She is walking with a couple of people ..."

The Ice Cream Man & The Mystery Girl

The Sun (Tuesday 12th August 2008) says: A street vendor told last night how he sold an ice cream to a girl he believes was Madeleine McCann eight days ago.

The sad English child was spotted with a woman in Brussels, Belgium, by Antonio Migliardi. She asked for a chocolate flavour ice — Maddie’s favourite. And she had a distinctive eye mark like Maddie.

It happened outside a KBC bank minutes after CCTV cameras on the building picked up a girl like Maddie with the North African-looking woman.

Antonio, 44, saw the English girl and the French-speaking woman last Monday.

The Belgian-Italian said last night: “The woman was very severe with the child. She held her hand firmly and kept pulling her closer. When I gave the ice cream to the child she stood frozen. The lady took it in her place. Normally a happy child always takes the ice. This was not a normal situation.”

He recalled: “It was about 13.40 or 13.45 hours. The lady had a headscarf and the blonde girl I guess was five. The little girl looked healthy but very sad. She had her eyes towards the floor and was too shy to look up. The lady asked her in a mixture of French and English what she wanted."

“The girl answered in English. She looked up for only a second, with an unhappy face, and said, ‘Chocolate please’ then she looked down again.

“She did seem to have some kind of spot in her eye, like a comma. I had not seen the pictures of Maddie with a spot in her eye at that time. I found them a very strange couple.”

A quick D.M.I

.... a quick 'turn' of the Servants of the Light cards. To explore the recent events now that the adrenalin has began to fade ... and the dust settles. Using the now famous image of MM (left) to provide the focus.

'Just how feasible was the recent sightings?'

Ten of Crescents - something which was intentionally created leaving persons unknown with a sense of achievement ...

Maker of Staves (reversed) .... a situation out of the hands and control of the spokesman of the unicorn. Someone took matters into their own hands with this.

Five of Crescents - something has been made to reach a premature conclusion. A hand out of nowhere prevents more leaks to appear?

The Star image was so close .... so close indeed. A real vibrational sense of the missing little girl. A RV of the CCTV footage and a real feeling. Those involved in the sighting are most certainly in come kind of contact with either the little girl or those agencies who hold her in their care. This seems carefully planned.The Prime of Staves indicates the reactions this sighting would have on the world. The little girl most certainly bore the resemblances of MM ... and how all would assume she'd be at the age of five. The Fool heralds the naivety of the public eyes who would be seeing this footage. There are two sides to this footage to consider here (the two of weapons) ... those who hold MM deliberately staged the 'event' to arrogantly display the fact they still have MM and she is alive. A real stab at the heart of her family. Or ... someone wants everyone to react the way of 'it is MM" .... only to have their hopes dashed again. Whatever it was ... it was most certainly staged. It feels that way ... a display harnessed by the order behind her disappearance and the continuing saga. A display which was calculatedly given to the media for those agencies to broadcast over hill and vale. A 'ritual' created ... the current reaction of the public the anticipated outcome and the desired spell. It keeps all enthralled and controlled ... under the control of the order which has the world still in the palm of its hand by this most famous of abductions.

My reaction to the CCTV suggests it could well have been MM in the footage. A waiting black car will have whisked them both away back to a safe location

Take a look at the still image from the recent Belgium CCTV footage on the left ... then note the similar resemblance to the woman in the black dress taken from the Morocco 'sighting' last year ...
Same person?
If it is ... the implications could be interesting. Same woman and blond haired child sighted in Morocco and in Belgium recently?
Just coincidence ... right?

Tonight's 'quick' insight

Symbolism: A dream-like sense of wandering across the boards of a theatrical stage. In slow motion. There are stage lights and awareness that beyond the glare people are watching. Unknown faces beckoning the unknown individual to step away from the stage into the sanctuary of off-stage. Looking down now from an upper tier box. Down onto the stage and seeing now clowns perform. Manikin-like costumes. Enthralling the audience who respond with roars of encouragement. There is a circus troupe ... all actors in animal costumes pretending to be the animals ... a convincing act. It is a hit stage show/musical following the exploits of a circus.

Judgement

The Seven of Spheres beholds the fool recovering one of the seven discarded spheres on the floor of a ravine. The fool is the number 0 in the tarot. The traveller. He/she who undertakes all experiences which the tree of life can provide. Recovering the first of the seven clues or inspirations along the early stages of the trail leads to the realisation of the Seven of Weapons.

The gauntleted hand grasping the six weapons/swords and leaving the one flaming sword within the grasp of the other gauntleted hand. The seven inspirations have become seven tasks or instructions. In turn the Seven of Weapons becomes the Nine of Spheres.

Having the six tasks in hand leads to a further nine inspirations, all of which are placed in seperate localities around the branches of the tree of life. The Fool must now wander previously travelled avenues to realise these further inspirations. Only then will the Fool travel back from the trivial aspects of the minor trumps of the tarot ... back into its true reality, that of the major arcana the Fool really belongs.

There waiting with be two major trumps - The Star and Judgement. The gematria of the trumps are thus 17 and 20 respectively. A combined value of 37, which is the singular ten or one. The progression for the Fool from its lowly number 0 to that of 1 on the next rung of the ladder. Thus the Fool will pass through its rite of initiation into its newly affirmed position.

A Quick Insight

A quick DMI insight using Servants of the Light tarot, and another [undisclosed] divination aid. Feeling almost immediately light headed with attention drawn to a slight discomfort around the chin area (lower gums/jaw discomfort). An aching right wrist. A weariness around the eyes. A dryness of the mouth. Inactivity, almost like the subject is reading or watching a DVD/film. Attention is most certainly focussed at this time. A mind has little chit chat. Not even the attention elsewhere in the room can break this concentration. Determined mind when it chooses. Sitting on a carpetted floor? A sense of roughness against the skin. But no discomfort. Accustomed to being on its own, this mind seems oblivious to the attention around it. A sense of a fleeting image of green string or cotton? Like a net or twine? Fleeting images of a boat? Below deck springs to mind but then are gone. A narrow passageway along which there was regular travel in the past. Past a room where there are many heated discussions. Towards a much bigger room and somewhere there who is almost always kind. To other children. More than one woman in this room. Then this image fades and attention returns to the focal point. Apprehension/tension a building feeling ... the heart racing a little quicker. A hand lifting a glass nearby and a drink of perhaps lemonade? Tension on the crown of the head. A headache.

Breaking now this link and turning to the SOTL tarot ....

Five familiar images - User of Crescents, Five of Weapons, Giver of Weapons, Six of Spheres, Eight of Spheres. So much still in the air/in the balance. Calmness somewhere deep within the 'glaze' of confusion. Still. Four swords battling the parry of one sword. The kneeling knight awaiting the touch of the flaming sword on his shoulders amid the forest with the stag looking on. The symbolism which has been a regular companion to the mystery ... the replica crescent upon the altar .... like a prize paraded before the 'watching man in the moon'. No new insights here, just more of the confusing same. The period of these images appears to be the present - mid September 2008. The hand of 'the fool' appears to take 'spheres' from out of the basket, passing them forth to three sets of waiting hands? The passage of information ... compensation or more expense?

A final image for the insight chosen at will from the SOTL pack - the Maker of Weapons which symbolises the creation of the Flaming Sword. The root cause of the situation to be discovered ... and the mystery to be solved. The 'maker' stands within a 'holy place' predetermining the event seemingly with his/her god on her side. There is a flaming forge to his/her left ... symbolic perhaps of a devotion or cause that requires the action which is being planned in this captured snapshot of the past. The anvil upon which the sword is being created is symbolically seen to ride on the back of the 'bespectacled man'. The intention of it all appears to have gathered together as much public/world wide attention as possible.

Daily Merlin Insight: "A Change of Perspective"

Daily Merlin Insight for Friday 22 August 2008

A general 'open' insight into the mystery. Met initially with a tide of calm and controlled emotions. A conglomeration of images rolled into one and the quick mental picture of a child's kaleidoscope. A dull ache on the left side. On the elbow and the shoulder blade. Some discomfort generated by the [undisclosed] divination aid. A sense of a quiet environment. Like the sense of sitting in a library, hushed and quietened voices. But this is not a library. This is a silence but not a nervous silence. Then the sense of the rear of a car. Looking out the window to the right hand side and watching countryside pass by. Just the drone of travel. No music and no conversation. The freedom of the rear of a vehicle.

Servants of the Light:
The Fool 8 of Crescents Keeper of Spheres 2 of Crescents (reversed) 3 of Staves

The 3 of Staves denotes 'the triad' once more. Seemingly the three individuals at the centre of the mystery. Pulling together as one ... three wheels of influence. Most surely three seperate locations now. The Fool at the centre of the 'celtic cross spread' crossing a threshold from the unknown into the known, bringing forth trust and the precious cargo .... away it seems from the undeterminable figure in black in the image of the eight of crescents. Either a black 'magician' or a black 'prince'. The robes can denote either. He stands halfway across the bridge. His land behind him with five discarded crescents (children?) there ... and two ahead of him in another land. He bears a ceremonial shepherd's crook. Maybe he is a donor or a doctor? But he has relevance to this configuration.

The 2 of Crescents reversed thus spells with all the illusion and the deception tactics. It is no longer the reflection of the single crescent seen on the surface of the sea. It seems all attention is now drawn to the one crescent now as the entire perspective has been turned around. Right on its head. It's all change now. The Keeper of Spheres suggests 'an ideas man/woman' ... someone involved in a campaign. Holding one of the spheres which has a worker bee within it. It is held at arms length above the head. This seems like one version of the situation which will be passed to the worker bees of the media. The true version is held close by to the Keeper in the hand of the Fool. There are two twins behind the Keeper. There is a real hint now of a necessity for control and order. The characters are seen to stand in the realm of 'the empress' .... peaceful and tranquil woodland. An environment so far away from the hustle and the bustle of the 'blood on the wall' falsehoods and its misleading trail. The Keeper of Spheres is seen to be in discussions with the fool ... and others close by. Discussions on what is to be the next direction open to dissection ....

The Shining Star amid the 'Living Trees'

Quick Insight 23/8/08
What are the impressions which are sensed regarding 'the Shining Star' at this time?

The Prime of Weapons (Ace of Swords) ... the 'Flaming Sword' within the Servants of the Light tarot. An enduring 'living' flame. Nervous energy and a mischievous spirit upon the earth plane. Certainly jaded by the events of the last 15 months. No doubt her life will not be the same. Having been chosen to be central to it all ... she appears to have endured the situation relatively well. Somehow she has found an inner reservoir of strength and endurance. Able to place a protective cocoon around herself mentally. Permitting endurance. A very determined character and one not easily forced into doing things against her will. A sense of a quick temper ... a battle of wills with this spirit is not something easy to overcome. Even at her young age, she knows what she wants and seemingly how to get it.

She is sensed has having responded well to female company around her. Surprisingly older than her years she has associated with other children quite a bit older than herself. There seems four adults who have tried to 'pierce' the protective cocoon she has placed around herself. There seems to have been the need to 'extract' information from her. But what can a four/five year old have that can be of value to these four individuals?

A sense of the canals around Amsterdam. She may well have ventured there at one time. It would have been cold because one of her custodians at that time was putting a warm overcoat on in the vision.

Nine of Weapons ... swords in the back for those who still pray for the safe return of the Shining Star. An unimaginable pressure exerted on her family. The sense of her being paraded like a 'prize' to further punish those who carry that hope. The relevance/specifics of there being 'eight swords' to be determined in a later insight. But it seems events from the past have caused the swords of Damocles to be hung above their heads.

Maker of Spheres ... a robed figure juggles four spheres in its hands. Four sightings or four instances that were indeed the missing Shining Star I wonder? In the background of the image stands a lone child. Between the robed figure and the child is an undeterminable landscape. Ancient trees bear faces ... ancient forces known to this world only by their 'public face' it seems. Branches of organisations which shape the very landscape we call this world. The lone figure stands on the horizon. In the foreground worker bees busy themselves around the robed figure. The figure a servant of these 'living trees' ... perhaps preparing to divulge what has been instructed ... to the worker bees?

In conclusion ... the Shining Star is very much alive and there is still the sense she is to be returned to her family. This event is written into the plans of the 'Living Trees' ... to be controlled as much as all the other twists and turns in this mystery.

The Emperor

Ten of Staves depicts an unknown figure held captive in a wooden enclosure. Held there by circumstances out of its control. Unable to lift the wooden enclosure and therefore escape. Convinced perhaps that the wooden posts are too well rooted in the ground to enable freedom. The figure sits in its thralldom between the High Priestess on its left and the Emperor on its right. The Emperor's attention is on the figure in the enclosure, but he is powerless to instruct or enable freedom for the captured figure ... his role in the image, though seemingly superficial .... is very much under the control of the High Priestess. For she is the ultimate decision maker. In her hands she holds the paperwork which will decide the fate of both the prisoner and the Emperor. Her eyes are firmly on the observer who sees all three images. Her gaze is cold and unnerving. Her dedication to the cause which motivates her will not permit to relent as yet.
